Yoga – Rest & Restore

yin picUsing props to assist and support longer holds in yoga poses. A slow paced yoga practice with asanas (postures) held from 45 seconds to two minutes for beginners, more advanced practitioners can stay in one asana for five minutes or more.

Rest & Restore  poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body – the tendons, fascia and ligaments – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. The perfect compliment to more active forms of yoga and exercise.

A more meditative approach to yoga, to rest and restore mind and body.

*post covid it is essential for participants to bring their own mat and props for example firm cushions/yoga blocks/yoga strap/yoga bolster.
